Tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 2, for the 2010-11 Bluffton University Artist Series, featuring performers from Cleveland to Croatia and sights and sounds from Russian to percussion.
The Allen County WIC office and Lima Parks and Recreation Department will hold a "Walk in the Park," in August, according to Lori Nester.
The event is from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 7, at Faurot Park shelter house number 2, in Lima.
The activity is in celebration of World Breastfeeding Week.
Participants may take a stroll around the one-quarter mile path, visit displays and information tables of a variety of organizations and businesses that serve families.

Beth Kuntz, a junior and Spanish Education major at Bluffton University from Covington, Ohio, traveled to Colombia on Wednesday, July 14, as part of a delegation sponsored by Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT).
Based in the oil-refining city of Barrancabermeja, the delegation will visit and support the Colombian Women's Social Movement Against War and for Peace.

Look at the trees on the lawn. Closely examine the sidewalk widths. The modern ramp is not there, nor is the zip code above the doorway, or the white house behind the post office or the building to the north. One more thing: look closely at the post office doors. They have been replaced. We almost forgot. The lawn slants toward the sidewalk; there's no wall there.
