Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will celebrate Palm Sunday, April 13, with a Palm Sunday Processional by the children. The children and choir will sing " Crown Him Lord of All." 

There are two identical services at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. Bible classes for all ages begin at 9:20 a.m.

The Bible reading is from Luke 22-23, the account of Jesus' suffering and death. Hymns include "All Glory, Laud, and Honor; Go to Dark Gethsemane; O Sacred Head, Now Wounded; Alas! and Did my Savior Bleed; and On My Heart Imprint Your Image."

State Wildlife Officer Ryan Kennedy, assigned to Hardin County, received a complaint concerning hunting without permission. A landowner had a trail camera photo of a suspect hunting on their property. Officer Kennedy contacted the suspect and found they had hunted white-tailed deer on the landowner’s property without a valid hunting license. The suspect was cited for hunting without permission and hunting without a license and paid $350 in fines.

The Bluffton Farmers Market is approaching the start of its summer season, which runs from the first Saturday in May through the last Saturday in October. Market manager Greg Probst recently held a meeting with prospective vendors and provided the attached vendor agreement.

The venue for vendors of locally grown produce and cottage foods is located in the Citizens National Bank parking lot at 102 S. Main. Market rules and regulations specify that the market is limited to “fresh, high-quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, bedding plants, potted plants, and other agricultural products.” It also specifies that “All home-produced products (jams, jellies, baked goods, etc.) must comply with all State of Ohio cottage foods rules.”
