Citizens National Bank (CNB) has announced the promotion of Susan Bunn to Vice President Treasury Management.

Women business owners and managers are invited to free monthly meetings where they can share experiences, network and mentor each other.

The first meeting is at 7:00 p.m. on August 15 at Bluffton Town Hall. Meetings will be the third Thursday of each month. 

Melinda Bowden, owner of PromoHits Ltd. in Bluffton, and Liz Gordon-Hancock, owner of the Boehr Block, are coordinating the gatherings. The opportunity was announced at the June meeting of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The first "Swiss Day" I attended was in the later 1970s. I was a student at Bluffton College and working under Dr. Delbert Gratz at the Musselman Library on campus. After his invitation, I ventured into Marbeck Center on a Sunday afternoon to find something very special. It was the start of my love for this tradition.

The following meetings have been scheduled by the Village of Bluffton. These public meetings will be at the Bluffton Town Hall unless noted.

Bluffton In Bloom Committee on Thursday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Finance Committee on Friday, June 28 at noon.

Board of Zoning & Building Appeals on Wednesday, July 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Planning Commission Meeting on Monday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m.

Council Meeting on Monday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m.
