Mosquito spraying in Bluffton started last week, according to Jamie Mehaffie, Bluffton village administrator. In his report to be made during Tuesday's Bluffton council meeting, he will note that spraying is scheduled on Wednesday evenings as needed, weather permitting.
Thursday spraying is the backup option to Wednesday. The village service department is handling the spraying. It is using a product called Duet.
Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Men In Black 3" (PG-13) will be showing at the theatre from June 1-7. All 2D seats are $3.00. All 3D seats are only $6.00.

Richard Alex Gillespie, 38, of San Antonio, Texas, died May 25, 2012, in San Antonio. He was born Sept. 20, 1973 in Bowling Green.

Dancers' Elite 32nd annual recital "Follow Your Dream," is set for early June, according to Deb Garlock, dance studio owner.
The recital is at 7 p.m., Friday, June 8, and Saturday, June 9 at the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium.
