A lily a day

Day lilies of almost every color have their in the sun in Bluffton this month.

Fresh produce, potted plants, foods of all kinds, friendly atmosphere, low prices.

That's one way to describe Bluffton's farmer's market, open each Saturday from May to the end of October. The market is located in the Citizens National Bank parking lot. It is open rain or shine from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The Icon went early on July 30 t beat the crowd, which generally easily reaches a couple hundred people. Today the heat may have kept some customers away, but the fresh produce and eveything else was there, just like last week.

Then, there's the notice that the Republicans may redistrict the 4th district out of existence to polish Jordan for his flight with the party establishment. What are your thoughts on that?
