ArtSpace/Lima is pleased to announce the award winners from the 71st Annual Spring Show:

Third Place Award – Anita Lehman, Bluffton, Ohio
Bruce Chesser Award – T.R. Steiner, Bluffton, Ohio
Farmer Family Award – Joshua Briem, Columbus, Ohio
Martha Gustad Award – Rebecca Boutin, Lima, Ohio
Meg Dickason Award – Kelly Massillo, Ada, Ohio
Director’s Award – Camden Courtney, Findlay, Ohio

Juror for the exhibit was artist Bryan Moss of Columbus, Ohio.

The exhibit will be on display until May 19 during the ArtSpace business hours:

Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00  a.m.-5:00 p.m.

All exhibits are free and open to the public.

Pirates home opener vs. Arcadia is 5 p.m. on April 4

CAREY–Bluffton High School lost to Carey 10-0 in a non-league softball bout Friday evening, March 31.

The Pirates dropped to 2-1 after suffering their first loss.

The Bluffton High School boys track and field team won a three-team meet at the Bluffton University facility on Tuesday, March 28. Bath and Ben Logan also competed in the event.

Several Pirates posted first-place finishes at the meet (complete Bluffton results HERE.):

Senior Sam Derstine crossed the line first in the boys 800 meters (2:02.4). Classmate Eden Antrim came home first in the 1600 (4:51.2).
