Rosemary Moyer 1917 - 2010
Rosemary Moyer, 92, of Rawson, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on
Monday, March 29, 2010, at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born on Dec. 28, 1917, to the late Oliver and Matilda (Conine) Benton. She married Earl Moyer on Sept. 22, 1936, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1999.
She is survived by a son, William "Bill" (Beverly) Moyer of Mt. Cory; a
daughter, Aunalee (Jerry) Miller of Elberta, Ala.; a grandson; and by three
great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter;
and by four sisters: Thelma Weller, Helen Sharp, Florence Hefner and Edna
Vansickle.
Mrs. Moyer was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the New Hope United Methodist Church in Rawson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 2, 2010, at
Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, where visitation will be held from
2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2010.
Chaplain Bill Herr will officiate and burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Blanchard Twp., Putnam County. Memorials can be made in her memory to the New Hope United Methodist Church and/or to the Mennonite Memorial Home. Online condolences can be made via www.coldrencrates.com.
