Margaret Elnora Augsburger 1919-2010
Margaret Elnora Augsburger, 91, Mennonite Memorial Home resident, died at 4:05 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, to Alfred and Marjorie (Jones) Mayberry. On Aug. 22, 1940, she married Wade Augsburger and he died on Jan. 5, 2008.
Mrs. Augsburger was a homemaker, retiring from Hawkey's Pharmacy, Columbus Grove. She had attended Lima Baptist Temple.
Surviviors include two sons, David (Anita) Augsburger, Bluffton; and James (Joni) Augsburger of Santa Rosa, Calif. Other survivors are one brother, Theodore (Marijo) Mayberry, Columbus Grove; one sister, Mary Lou Metzger, Delphos; three grandchildren (2 step-grandchildren) and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by six brothers, Lloyd, Elmer, Cloyce, George, Alton and Willis Mayberry; two sisters Freda Blake and Elsie Core.
Services are Tuesday, April 27, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial is in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 26, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home.
Memorials may go to the Mennonite Memorial Home.
