Ruth Kibele 1919 - 2010
Ruth E. Kibele, 91, of Bluffton, died at 10:15 a.m., April 23, 2010, at Otterbein Nursing Home, Cridersville.
She was born April 2, 1919, to John and Clara Gratz Geiser in Grand Marsh, Wisc,. On June 20, 1938, she married Kermit Kibele and he died Jan. 20, 1969.
Mrs. Kibele owned and operated Kibbee's Carry-Out and had worked at Triplett Corp. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Bluffton College. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Bluffton.
Survivors include daughters Jeannie (Owen) Hinkle, Lima; Kay (Don) Wade, Lima; and sons Kim (Susie), Richmond, Ind., Jan (Paula), Bluffton, Don, Cuyahoga Falls, and Tom (Sherry), Harrod.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jack and Keith, and a brother, Paul Geiser.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 1, at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton. Steve Yoder and Louise Wideman will officiate.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
