Benroth also reported that Bluffton~Ac^a'not^a"cs return rate on the 2010 U.S. Census is the highest in the area. The village~Ac^a'not^a"cs return rate on forms is at 87 percent. She said that census takers have visited Mennonite Memorial Home, Vance Street Apartments, Bluffton Arms Apartments and Bluffton University. However, Maple Crest has yet to be counted.

The village intends to install warning signs altering motorists of deer crossings along Augsburger Road and Grove Road. A sizeable herd of deer roams that outlying area of the village and has become a potential hazard to motorists.
