Two students receive Barbara Fleming Nursing Scholarship
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio has announced Allison Vermillion of Ada and Catherine Meyer of Jenera are recipients of this year's Barbara Fleming Scholarship.
This scholarship goes to students pursuing a career in nursing. This is the ninth year that this scholarship has been presented. It was founded by her family in honor of Barbara Fleming, a nurse and resident of the Mennonite Memorial Home. This year the committee was able to give away two $500 nursing scholarship.
MHCO awarded one $500 scholarship to Vermillion, a full-time nursing student at Mount Carmel College of Nursing, Columbus. Meyer attends Bethel College in Indiana. Both recipients are pursuing a BSN in nursing.
