Adah Lehman 1925-2010
Adah Louise Lehman, 85, of Bluffton, died at 10:15 a.m., Aug. 3, 2010, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. She was born March 9, 1925, to Peter and Eunice (Burkholder) Lehman in Bluffton.
She had been a school teacher in Galion School System for 29 years. She was a member Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora. She was a member of the Bluffton Senior Citizens. She had volunteered at the Bluffton Senior Citizens and the Et Cetera Shop, Bluffton. She enjoyed crafts. She graduated from Bluffton High School, Bluffton College and Bowling Green State University.
She is survived by a brother, Wade (LaDonna) Lehman, Columbus Grove; a sister, Wilma Lehman, Bluffton; sister, Wanda (Charles) Lyman, Denver, Pa., sister, Lois Lyman, Kernersville, N.C.; and a sister, Marjorie (Donald) Lyman, North Franklin, Conn.
In addition, she is survived by numerous neices and nephews. Preceding her in death are two brothers, Wilmer Lehman and Evan Lehman and a sister, Ruby Lugibihl.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 6, at Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora. Rev. Dennis Schmidt will officiate.
Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Burial is in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora. Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
