In case of a flood, the mailbox is not in trouble. Bluffton resident John Harbison of 465 East College Avenue recently install a one-of-a-kind mailbox. The box is connected to a 1938 Evinrude ELTO motor. The company manufactured outboard motors located in Milwaukee. John said he also has two 1913 Evinrudes motors. I More photos below. educational discounts; enhance workforce needs
Bluffton University is rapidly growing a network of Corporate and Education Partnerships in northwest Ohio.
The university has entered into 3-year Corporate Partner agreements with six companies and five Education Partner agreements with area school districts since its launch this spring.
“We are excited about the leadership opportunities for our region,” said Dr. Jane Wood, president of Bluffton University.
Bluffton Community Assistance Program and the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association will provide free school supplies to students on the free/and or reduced lunch program within the Bluffton school district.
The distribution is from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 8, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 223 W. College Ave.
It is suggested to call the church at 419-358-5641 to enroll your child. If no one is in the office leave a message with your child’s name, grade and a contact phone number.

CLYDE - The Bluffton golf team teed off its 2020 campaign by finishing a strong second in the nine-team Woodmore Invitational at the Green Hills Golf Course in Clyde Tuesday.
Tourney host Woodmore finished first with 322 strokes, 34 shots ahead of the runner-up Pirates (356).
Old Fort came in third with 361 strokes, followed by Toledo Christian (368), Eastwood (384), Otsego (393), Lake (402), Gibsonburg (417) and Rossford (420).
