Check out the list of vendors at this weekend's community garage sale
The community garage sale Friday, Feb. 25, and Saturday, Feb. 26, offers something for everyone, according to members of the SHANNON Service Club, sponsoring the event.
"Of special interest to many is coin dealer Leonard Wilson, who will appraise your coins and buy them on the spot, so bring your old and unusual coins, gold, and silver," said Duane Bollenbacher.
Among the other 30-some vendors are Deer Creek Shoppes, baked goods from Bluffton United Methodist Women, assorted items from "2 Guys and a Garage," homemade pies and breads from Anita's Kitchen, live rabbits by Gary Wetherill, and the many regular past vendors with a wide variety of you-name-it items.
The garage sale opens promptly at 4:30 p.m., until 8:30, on Friday at The Centre at Bluffton, 601 North Main St. Parking is free; admission is $1. (Chicken barbecue tickets offer free admission to the garage sale.) The sale continues Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
This is the eighth annual event sponsored by the S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club of Bluffton, an entirely-local volunteer organization whose goal is to help the youth and persons in need in our area.
