Bluffton food pantry benefits from Bluffton Community Markets project
Community Markets partnered with Food For All to run a holiday season point-of-purchase fundraiser from Nov. 1, 2010 - Jan. 3, 2011.
The fundraiser featured boards stocked with $1, $3 and $5 donation coupons at each checkout stand. Community Markets in Bluffton selected Bluffton Community Food Assistance to be the beneficiary of the Food For All fundraiser this year.
"Current economic conditions are making it more and more difficult for families to make ends meet. We hope our donation can assist with the basic need of feeding families locally." says Eric Anderson, CEO. "We are very grateful to our customers for helping make this fundraiser possible."
This year, parent company Fresh Encounter, Inc. is donating approximately $4,000 to local food banks through the Food For All program.
