May police docket now available

May 01

-Police arrested Bradley Shaver, 43, Parma for DUS following a traffic stop on S. Main St. for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

-Officers responded to Bluffton University in regards to students possibly smoking marijuana, drinking underage, and driving recklessly through the parking lots.

May 02

-Police received a sexual assault complaint and the case was turned over to the Allen County Sheriff's Office for further investigation.

-A Vance St. Business reported that someone had passed bad checks at the business.

May 03

-Officers responded to Bluffton University in response to a theft of a motor vehicle and an assault. The vehicle was discovered on campus and several people were interviewed in regards to the case. The case is being reviewed in Lima Municipal Court for possible charges.

May 05

-Officer's arrested Sebran Johnson, 20, of New Jersey for OVI following a traffic stop on Vine St. for a loud music violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

-Officers responded to a Riley St residence in regards to an unruly juvenile complaint.

-An employee of a SR 103 business reported her purse stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot.

May 06

-Police responded to the Bluffton Hospital in regards to a Domestic Violence complaint.

May 07

-Police arrested Robert Schubert, 40, Findlay for DUS following a traffic stop on Bentley Road. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

May 08

-A Wilhelm Cr. resident reported the theft of a license plate from a moped.

May 10

-Police took a menacing complaint from a Bucher Rd resident who reported her daughter was threatened by an adult while at Bluffton Middle School during a school function.

-A Findlay resident reported receiving several harassing phone calls while at a local restaurant.

May 15

-Police arrested Dylan Demellweek, 18, Bluffton for OVI following a traffic stop on Grove St for driving without headlights on. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

May 19

-Police responded to the Bluffton Middle School in regards to a report of a student with a gun. After a short lock down and investigation, it was learned that a student brought a pellet gun to school for a class play. The matter was turned over to the school for disposition.

May 20

-A Lincoln Hwy resident reported being hit by a water balloon that was thrown from a vehicle.

-A Huber St Resident reported damage done to her car by unknown persons while it was parked at her residence.

May 22

-Police responded to a Vance St Business in response to a theft complaint.

May 25

-Officers responded to the Buckeye Park and Bluffton Pool in regards to someone having lit a fire in a porta potty and in the restrooms at the Bluffton Pool. Police spoke with an adult male and a male juvenile in regards to this complaint and charges are pending in Lima Municipal Court and Allen County Juvenile Court.

-Police responded to an E. Elm St. residence in response to a missing juvenile.

May 28

-A County Line Rd resident reported a domestic dispute at her residence. Officers responded and the female complainant left the residence for the night.

May 29

-A Sally Ln resident reported trash and miscellaneous items thrown around their yard and spread on the side of their house.

May 31

-A N. Main St. Business reported damage done to a vehicle parked in their parking lot.
