BVHS names Director of Marketing and Public Relations
Amy J. Leach has been named the director of marketing and public relations for Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS). She will lead and oversee the Health System's marketing and public relations efforts, including advertising, media relations, community awareness and internal communication.
"We are delighted to welcome Amy to our team," said Chris Press, president of Blanchard Valley Hospital and Bluffton Hospital. "We are pleased to have found an individual whose energy and talent matches the culture here at BVHS and in our community."
Leach has nearly 20 years of professional experience in marketing, public relations and business management. Prior to joining Blanchard Valley Health System, she served as the director of marketing and public relations for Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, W.V. Additionally, she also served as the director of auxiliary and volunteer services and the managing director of the Pleasant Valley Hospital Foundation.
Leach is a graduate of West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.V. where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990 and a Master of Science degree in 1992.
A West Virginia native, Leach has been active in her community. She has served as a member of the board of directors and marketing chairman for the Mason County Community Foundation, vice president of an art gallery that places emphasis on youth art education, member of the board of directors for the Lakin Correctional Center for Women and has served as an adjunct professor for Marshall University.
