Bluffton Senior Citizens Center planning several summer and fall trips
The Bluffton Senior Citizens are traveling this summer and fall.
"Friday, Aug. 26 we visit Holmes County Amish including Smuckers, Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen for lunch, Heinie's Cheese Chalet, Coblenz Chocolate Company, and a Dinner Show at the Amish Door in Wilmot featuring "Cotton Patch Gospel" a Southern Blue Grass interpretation of the Life of Jesus," said Bob Painter of the Center.
Also on the list of tours is a trip to LaComedia Dinner Theatre to see "Church Basement Ladies, Second Helping" and the Freisinger's Chocolate Factory. The LaComedia Trip is on Sept. 1.
A Vermont Kaleidoscope tour is planned Sept. 27 - Oct. 3.
"It's at the height of New England colors. White Star Tours will be taking us to Morse Sugar Farm, Green Mountain Coffee Company, Vermont Country Store, Hildene Estate, Manchester Village, Vermont Marble Museum, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Quechee Gorge,
a cruise on Lake Champlain, an Apple Orchard and Cider Mill and more," said Painter.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, will be a trip to Bearcreek in Indiana for dinner and a concert by the Oak Ridge Boys.
Another tour is Nov. 29 - Dec. 1. It is three days and two nights 3 days, nights at Wheeling, West Virginia to visit Historic Oglebay Park, The Glass Museum, Artisans Center, West Virginia's Independence Hall, The Festival of Lights, tour, the Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum, a couple Christmas dinner shows and more.
