Rural Bluffton man faces arson charges in Lima Municipal Court
A rural Bluffton man faces charges in Lima Municipal Court following a May 25 incident at Buckeye Park and the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool, according to Rick Skilliter, Bluffton police chief.
Police officials were called to investigate a report of fire being set to a portable restroom and in the swimming pool bathroom. While investigating the complaint, officers discovered two separate fires were set in each of the areas.
Investigating officers identified a suspect through the course of conducting several interviews of witnesses in the area at the time.
As a result of the investigation, Tyler A. Closson has been charged with two counts of Arson. The charges are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
