BCE annual meeting at town hall celebrates business incubator's third year

On Friday, Sept. 23, the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE) executive board will conduct a public annual meeting at 7:30

a.m. on the third floor of the Bluffton Town Hall.

Preceded by a catered breakfast, the meeting's agenda will include a summary of 2010 including a financial report and client summary. The board will also elect new officers for board.

BCE board president Brendon Matthews reports that the BCE is
celebrating three full years of providing solutions and support to
local entrepreneurs.

The business incubator will present Tier 1 certificates to businesses that have excelled at fulfilling the BCE client goals.

Presentations will include comments from Bluffton University president Jim Harder on BU/BCE synergy and potential, remarks from Dan Klear of Superior Energy Solutions on being a BCE client, and the introduction of Denise Durenberger as Executive Director and lead mentor.

Announcements will be made on the BCE's upcoming art auction, as well as workshop and competition plans to interest new entrepreneurs.

The meeting will also give clients an opportunity to showcase their
businesses.

Current BCE clients are All Purpose Lawn Care, Drive Time Driving Instruction, Fluent Point, J. Bankert Bookkeeping, KTL Fabrication, Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, Peak 24HR Fitness and Superior Energy Solutions.
