20 Bluffton chamber businesses display their products, services at university
Twenty area businesses will participate in the Sept. 22 Bluffton University business showcase. The showcase, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, takes place in Marbeck Center student dining area. This is an opportunity to local businesses to share their products and services with Bluffton University students.
The showcase is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year's participating businesses include:

8 - Bluffton Family Recreation
9 - First National Bank
10 - Town and Country Flowers
11 - Twin Lakes Park

13 - Greg's Pharmacy
14 - Bluffton Hospital
15 - Ten Thousand Villages
16 - Et Cetera Shop
17 - Book Reviews
18 - Curling Iron
19 - Cellular Central
20 - It Works Global
"This is a great opportunity for local businesses to introduce themselves to university students," said Fred Steiner of the chamber. "Most businesses have drawings during the showcase or give away freebies to students.
Each year the chamber gives away prizes from businesses who participate in the showcase. This year the chamber will give away on a drawing one $50 gift certificate from McDonald's Restaurant and two $25 gift certificates.
The chamber uses the event as a fundraiser. Each chamber participating business pays $25 for a display table. Funds used this year go toward the new garland project of the chamber.
