"Women in Water" exhibit opens Jan. 9
The watercolor art of four female artists from Findlay, will be displayed in "Women in Water," an exhibition opening Monday, Jan. 9, in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Bluffton University's Sauder Visual Arts Center.
Continuing through Jan. 28, the exhibit is free and open to the public, as is a reception for the artists from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
The featured professional artists are Janealla Smalley, traditional watercolor; Ruth Balcomb, ink pourings and watercolor; Marla Brumbaugh, experimental and collage; and Laura Barnhardt-Corle, photo-realist watercolor. Their paintings also span a variety of subjects, from landscape and portrait art to the abstract.
