University soccer teams in Day of Service
The Bluffton University men's and women's soccer teams were among those who participated in the National Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday.
Karen Wagner, store manager for the Lima Habitat for Humanity Chapter ReStore, put out a call for volunteers to help move the thriving retail business to a new location.
The Bluffton men's and women's soccer and volleyball teams spent two days cleaning fixtures, unloading trucks, stocking shelves and doing a variety of tasks.
In addition, 12 other students served at Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen in Lima, serving a meal and visiting with people on Monday morning. Five other students assisted at Maple Crest Senior Living Village in Bluffton.
