April 1
-Officers responded to the 100 Block of Geiger St. in response to a report of damage being done to a resident's property.
April 2
-A Quarry Dr. Business reported the theft of welding cables from the business.
April 6
-Officers responded to a child custody dispute at the Elementary School playground.
April 7
- A Swanton resident filed a complaint involving a child custody dispute.
-Officers received a complaint of Telephone Harassment from an E. Elm St. resident.
April 8
-Officers responded to the 100 Block of N. Main St. in response to a loud noise and criminal damaging complaint. While investigating this complaint it was learned that one of the residents may have fired a weapon earlier in the night.
April 9
-A N. Lawn Ave. resident reported that her neighbor stole a rock from her front yard.
April 12
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of S. Main St. and College Ave. William Watkins, 80, Bluffton was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
-A S. Jackson St. resident filed a child custody complaint.
April 14
-Police arrested Joshua George, 22, Lima, for DUS following a traffic stop on I-75. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-Police arrested William Tweed, 33, Findlay, for DUS following a traffic stop on S. Main St. for a registration violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
April 15
-Police responded to a complaint of Domestic Violence at a residence in the 100 block of N. Main St.
April 16
-A Cherry St. resident reported that someone had written them a check on an account that was closed.
April 18
-Police responded to a SR 103 business in regards to the owner of the property finding live ammunition.
April 19
-A Bluffton University Sstudent reported that their laptop computer was stolen from a building at the university.
April 20
-Police responded a non-injury traffic crash on E. Jefferson St. at the Rail Road tracks. William Garrett, 62 Bluffton was issued a citation for Reasonable Control. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
April 21
-Police received a menacing complaint from a N. Main St. Business owner.
-Police responded to a complaint of an unruly juvenile in the 300 block of S. Main St.
April 23
-Police arrested Elizabeth Herrera 21, Middletown, Ohio, for DUS following a traffic stop on I-75. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-A Garmatter St. resident filed a Telephone Harassment complaint.
April 27
-A Swanton resident reported that her children were being unruly and causing a disruption with her parenting time.
April 28
-Police arrested Eric Fox, 19, Brunswick, Ohio, for Underage Consumption. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
April 29
-Police arrested Matthew Mericle, 29, Bluffton for DUS following a traffic stop on E. Jefferson St. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
April 30
-Police arrested Matthew Mericle, 29, Bluffton for DUS following a traffic stop on Church St. for a loud music complaint. He was also arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Putnam County.
-Police responded to the 300 Block of W. Elm St. in response to a male that was shot with a BB gun. Police located two juveniles who admitted to being the ones responsible for shooting the BB gun.
