Dick Ramseyer receives International Leadership Award at state Lions convention
Dick Ramseyer, a member of the Bluffton Lions Club, has received the International Leadership Award at the Ohio State Lions Convention. The event was May 19 in Columbus.
Lions District Governors from around the state recommend Lions in their district for national awards who have provided exemplary service to their community.
"It was a pleasure for me to recommend Dick from District 13-A for the International Leadership Award provided by the Lions International President, Wing-Kun Tam," said Barbara Plaugher also of the Bluffton club.
Criteria used for this recommendation included Ramseyuer bringing into the Bluffton club over 25 new members in the last few years and his outstanding effort in fundraising for the charity raffle project.
