Ohio State puzzle going to the highest bidder - proceeds to the Bluffton Senior Center

Wayne Schafer with puzzle

Calling all Ohio State Fans: the Bluffton Senior Center received a donation of an Ohio State Football puzzle in a custom-made walnut football shaped frame from Wayne Schafer.
According to Toyna Meyer, Center director, Schafer made the framed puzzle and donated it to the Senior Center to help with the Center's operating expenses.
"Wayne has made many items over the years for the Senior Center's gift shop, but the football puzzle is something special and a one of a kind item," Meyer told The Icon.
"I made one for my son, but it is in a rectangle frame," said Schafer.
The Senior Center will have a silent auction during the month of September to auction off the framed puzzle.
The auction will end at 2 p.m., Sept. 29, during the annual Fall Festival. The puzzle can be seen at the Bluffton Senior Center, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or during the community meals on the first and third Thursday of the month until 7p.m.
Bids may be made starting Sept. 4 at the Senior Center or may be called in to the Senior Center at 419-358-8971. The puzzle shows Brutus, the Ohio State Marching Band, football players and the Ohio State O.
