Larry Kahle was a 1966 graduate of Bluffton High School
Larry B. Kahle, 64 of Bluffton, died Aug. 20, 2012 at his residence in Bluffton. He was born Dec. 4, 1947, in Lima to Linus and Irene Niese Kahle. His mother survives in Columbus Grove.
Mr. Kahle worked at the former McIntosh Industries, Bluffton. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton, and the Bluffton American Legion Post 382. He was a 1966 Bluffton High School graduate. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors also include a son, Mark (Pamela) Kahle of Lima, three grandchildren, Kelsey, Nathan and Breanna Kahle, and four sisters, Linda (Brice) Recker of Gahanna, Joanne (Donald) Lechner of Whitehouse, Connie (John) Niese of Columbus Grove, and Julie (Charles) Zimomra of Coshocton, He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Kiene and a brother Louis Kahle
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St, Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. Rev. Tim Ferris will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Columbus Grove, with military rites by the Bluffton American Legion.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton; with a parish wake service at 7:30 p.m.
