WATCH THE VIDEOS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.
Carlin Carpenter told Friday's (Jan. 11) Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast audience that this was the earliest he's been up since his kitchen was on fire several years ago.
You can only imagine where the conversation drifted after that opening liner. Carpenter spoke to the hometown audience on the first stop of a nationwide promotional tour for his upcoming book "Coaching Football Ain't Easy."
He spoke to an eager breakfast audience of over 70 persons, the largest-ever chamber breakfast in recent memory.
