May 11 arts and crafts show could be one of largest in several seasons
Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 11. That’s the date of the 42nd annual Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce arts and crafts show. The show is on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is a chamber fundraiser.
The show includes several traditional features and some new ones that will make this year one of the largest is several seasons.
According to Jerry Burkholder over 50 vendors have pre-registered. With over 50 pre-registered that fills Main Street from the town hall to Church Street. All indications are that that vendor booths and activities will take up most of South Main Street from Church Street to Franklin.
Familiar features:
• Bluffton Farmers’ Market in the Citizens National Bank parking lot, from 8 a.m. to noon
• Hinkle Pony Rides of Mt. Blanchard
• Bluffton businesses displaying their products and services
• Free musical entertainment – groups will be announced soon
• Hard Rock Llama exhibit
• Pumpkin Vine Railroad – kiddies ride
• Several Bluffton food vendors
New this year:
• A community health fair on Cherry Street – details are coming together this month
• Bike rodeo on Church Street – details are coming together this month
As details on the health fair and bike rodeo develop, information will be released.
Craft vendors are still able to register at $40 early-bird prices. From May 1 on, the craft booth registration fee is $60.
