Harriet Badertscher was a Bluffton HS graduate
Harriet E. Badertscher, 76, died April 25, 2013, at Willow Ridge – Frieda House, Bluffton.
She was born Oct. 23, 1936, in Bluffton to the late Edwin and Mae (Murray) Badertscher. On April 26, 1958, she married Don L. Badertscher and he died Nov. 7, 2003.
Mrs. Badertscher was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bluffton. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School.
Survivors include two daughters Lori A. (William) Barns of Vienna, Va., Susan K. (Walter) Delgado of Jonesboro, Ga.; four grandchildren Christopher, Mindy, Ariel, and Julie Delgado; and two brothers, James (Ruth) Badertscher, and Robert (Ann) Badertscher, both of Bluffton.
A daughter Nancy Badertscher preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bluffton. Rev. Carol Clements officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Parkinsons Disease Foundation.
