Bluffton chamber asks: "How can we improve Bluffton?" during Jan. 17 breakfast meeting
Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will focus on "How can we improve Bluffton?" during its Friday, Jan. 17, monthly chamber breakfast. The meeting is in the third floor of the town hall.
Richland Manor is the breakfast sponsor and will provide the free breakfast with serving starting at 7 a.m. The breakfast meeting starts at 7:30 a.m.
"Once we get into the program portion of the meeting we will split into smaller groups. Each group will tackle these questions, and will eventually report back to the larger group," said Fred Steiner, chamber director.
• What can we do to attract more shopper downtown/and what can we do to make Bluffton a “destination?”
• What is Bluffton missing?
• What’s the greatest community need that the chamber can assist in?
• What additional benefits should the chamber provide for its members?
These topics may be refined by Jan. 17, but this provides persons attending to start thinking about discussion points.
Other items on the program include a recognition of Dennis Lee, recently retired Bluffton High School footbal coach, and introduction of Jessica Hermiller, new Bluffton Public Library director.
2014 membership window stickers will be distributed and additional items will be on the agenda. The meeting is open to the public. Persons interested in attending should RSVP to [email protected].
