Lots of 2014 trips announced by Bluffton Senior Center

The Bluffton Senior Citizens and friends are looking forward to another year of traveling near and far.

Springtime will feature a Mystery Trip on  April 24 departing the Senior Center at 8:30 a.m., exploring the unusual and extra ordinary, plus a buffet lunch and motor coach transportation, all for $50.

Beginning May 31 will be a trip of nine days and eight nights exploring Chicago, cruising the Wisconsin Dells, visiting the Corn Palace and Wall Drug, the Badlands National Park, two days guided tour of the Black Hills, Crazy Horse Mountain Carving, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore Lighting Ceremony, Historic Deadwood and much more. The trip's cost is  $1,035 double occupancy.

Exploring the Treasures of Scotland for 10 days and nine nights, is from July 14 to 23  beginning in Glasgow, a day trip to the Isle of Arran, searching Loch Ness for “Nessie,” visiting the Highlanders farms, Edinburgh, Inverness, cathedrals, distilleries, universities and museums. Price per person, air and land $3,952 double occupancy.  

Another trip is to Showtime at Plain City Der Dutchman, July 8, Amish style family dinner plus “Crazy Bout Country” featuring Ron Retzer at the keyboard, along with a violinist and guitarist. Cost is $65.  

And a Mackinac Island and Upper Peninsula trip , five days – four nights beginning Sept. 28. Cost is  $634 double occupancy.

A final trip is to Frankenmuth Village, Bronner’s Christmas Village,  Horse and Carriage tour of Mackinac Island, visit the Grand Hotel, Dinner Cruise through the Soo Locks, and more.
