There's a new item on the Common Grounds menu and no two are alike
The new phrase at Common Grounds is “break an egg.”
Actually two eggs.
This month the Main Street coffee shop added omelets to its breakfast fare. These are on the menu every Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings until 11 a.m., according to Phil Zimmerly, owner.
“You can create your own omelet,” said Zimmerly. He explained that customers have lots of choices.
For example: customers may choose any three of the following items for the custom-made omelet:
• Spinach, green peppers, red peppers, red onions, cheddar cheese or feta cheese.
And you may also choose any two of the following items for your omelet:
• Sausage, bacon, ham, turkey or chicken.
The Icon ordered an omelet with spinach, bacon, feta cheese, and took photos of the breakfast dish being created by Samantha Erter. View the photos below and then plan what you’d like on your own custom-made omelet.
