Chairs, quilt, tee shirts, chicken dinner, on Bluffton for Hope Cancer relay schedule
Tickets and bid sheets are now available in preparation for the Bluffton for Hope Cancer relay fundraisers.
The community is invited to support cancer research through several projects underway for the June 19-20 Bluffton for Hope cancer relay event, which takes place at Bluffton Family Recreation, 2015 Snider Road.
Hand-painted chairs are on display in downtown Bluffton storefronts with silent bids accepted. Cory-Rawson High School art students repurposed old chairs with new hand painted design and their creations for the auction.
A one-of-a-kind, handmade quilt featuring all of the past Bluffton Relay for Life tee shirts will be raffled off on Friday, June 19, and tickets are on sale at the Village Cut & Curl.
Tickets for a chicken barbecue are on sale at Polished and Village Cut & Curl. The dinner, catered by Henry's Restaurant, includes one-half chicken, two sides and roll for $8.
Dinners can be picked up to go or eat in from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on June 19. Proceeds from all fundraisers will go directly to the American Cancer Association.
For more information and tickets, contact Lynda Best (419-296-2790) or stop by Village Cut & Curl or Polished.
