Rally Point River Ride Aug. 8
The seventh annual Rally Point River Ride is set for Saturday, Aug. 8 at Heritage Park, Lima. Many families with young children participate in the 20-
mile ride on the Rotary River Walk. Young bikers and
parents with trailers ride the 10-mile trip from Heritage Park to
Ottawa Metro Park. Afterward, participants may enjoy lunch,
live music, and the Kid's Zone. There will also be a drawing for
four bikes for children ages 0-12, courtesy of Barbers Give Bikes.
Cost is $35 per rider or $80 per family (which includes up
to five lunches and two t-shirts). Same day registration is available. All
proceeds benefit the Rally Point Youth Center of Lima
For riders who want more of a challenge, there are 50 and 62.5 mile rides. Riders receivea t-shirt, rest stops with drinks and snacks, lunch, live music, and massage.
