Bluffton made adjustments in set two, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Tigers who took control of the match with a 25-21 win. The Beavers went down 25-15 in the third set as host Colorado capped a perfect 4-0 weekend.
Bluffton was paced offensively by Kendra Parmenter with nine kills and Lauren Weisgarber with eight kills, hitting .467 on the match. Erin Weisgarber dished out 20 assists. After a long weekend the Beavers are 3-5 on the season and they will be heading back to Ohio tomorrow. Bluffton returns to action a little closer to home when it travels to Ada to play at Ohio Northern University on Wednesday, Sept. 16. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
