Brown named HCAC Player of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Jenny Brown (St. Marys/Memorial) led the Beavers to a 2-0 mark at the last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on offense for the week ending September 27, 2015. It marks the second straight Player of the Week honor for Brown after she propelled the Beavers to a 4-0 record at the Wooster Kilt Classic.
The senior middle hit .458 for the week with 27 kills against just five errors. Brown tallied 4.50 kills per set and also added 10 block assists as the Beavers posted their fifth and sixth straight victories.
Brown currently leads the HCAC with a .363 hitting percentage and her 3.49 kills per set are third in the conference.
Bluffton (9-6, 1-0 HCAC) will host Earlham in a conference match Wednesday before closing the week with a home match against Goshen Saturday.
