Matthew Sapienza 1985-2015
Matthew Dominic Sapienza, 29, died Oct. 6, 2015, in Findlay. Matt was born December 7, 1985 in Findlay.
After graduating from Findlay High school, Matt worked at the Bistro in Findlay where he developed his love for cooking. He was established chef for his family and home.
Survivors include his mother Deb (fiance Mike Schmidt) Sapienza of Findlay; father Dominic V. Sapienza of Findlay; a sister Danielle (Michael) Guenther; a brother Michael Sapienza of Findlay; a nephew Lochlan Guenther; a half sister Amy Haley; maternal grandmother Gayla Conaway of Mt. Cory; paternal grandmother Flossie Sapienza of Findlay and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather LeRoy Conaway and paternal grandfather Dominic Sapienza.
Services will be held Frida, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Mike Sell officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services.
