Upcoming library programs feature Janette Reineke
On Thursday, January 14 at 5:30 p.m., Janette Reineke will be at Bluffton Public Library for a Book Signing of her recently published work, Fear No Art! You Can Do It! Books will be available for $25, cash or check. No registration is necessary for this program.
Then, on Monday, February 29 at 6:00 p.m., Ms. Reineke will be back for an “Assemblage Art Workshop for Adults.” Registration is required for this program with a $10 fee for supplies collected upon registration (cash only, and nonrefundable after February 19.) Registration is required by February 19 and space is limited; though a minimum of eight participants is necessary to hold the program. To register, visit the library's website, ask at the front desk, or call 419-358-5016 during open hours.
Ms. Reineke has 25 years experience in teaching art in elementary and middle school. After retiring, she continued to share her love of art with residents in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. Her book is a collection of ideas, lesson plans, and technique for instructing art. It is a great resource to easily teach children and adults about specific artists, their styles and techniques, and to cultivate hands-on experience with distinctive forms of art.
