Letters: Scouting For Food comes to Bluffton in March - be ready
Icon viewers:
Bluffton’s Boy Scout Troop 256 is participating in a community-wide service project called Scouting For Food.
In fact, it’s the Scout’s biggest service project of the year. On Saturday, March 5, we’re going to go door-to-door in Bluffton to put a yellow grocery bag on everybody’s doorstep or porch. During the week, your bags can be filled with canned goods and such.
On March 12, put the filled bag back on your doorstep or porch. The Scouts will pick them up and take the donated items to the Bluffton Food Pantry.
You may donate canned and boxed goods (such as breakfast cereal, spaghetti noodles or pasta,) or paper products (such as toilet paper, napkins or paper towels.) The Scouts cannot accept items in glass containers.
Thank you for your help!
