University Multicultural Student Organization to deliver water to Flint, Mich.
The Bluffton University Multicultural Student Organization, along with help from members of the Bluffton University football team, will be loading a box trailer with more than 250 cases of water starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 29.
The MSO held a bottled water drive to benefit the community of Flint, Mich. after their water supply was revealed to contain high levels of lead. Water (24 pack cases) was donated by Bluffton University students, staff and faculty as well as community members.
The truck will be loaded at a parking lot on the north end of Salzman Stadium. The water will then be taken to organizations in Flint to be dispersed.
