Victoria Bowers was a 2012 Bluffton University graduate
Victoria Anne 'Tori' Miller Bowers, 27, died Monday, May 30, 2016, in her sleep from a rare heart condition.
She was born May 9, 1989, in Wooster to Errol and Kathlene Suter Miller of Jeromesville, and married Myles Bowers on July 28, 2012. He survives.
In addition to her husband and parents, survivors are, Kalina (Isaiah) Schloneger of San Francisco, Calif.; her father- and mother-in-law, Darrel and Carol Bowers of Delphos; sisters-in-law, Melissa (Jeremy) Pruett, and nephews, Austin and Logan Pruett, and Shauna Bowers, all of Delphos; aunts and uncles, Linda and Bob Suter and Mary Ann and Bill Suter, all of Bluffton, Cathy and Frank Smith of Grand Junction, Colo., Jolene and Denny Oxender of Bluffton; and a grandmother, Mary Miller of Sugarcreek.
She was a 2008 graduate of Hillsdale High School, and received her BA from Bluffton University in 2012.
Tori was a manager for Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn in Westerville and a manager at Six Hundred Downtown in Bellefontaine. She also gave French horn lessons.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 4, at 3 p.m. at First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson St., Bluffton, where family and friends will be received Friday, June 3, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m at the church. The Rev. Dr. David Wilcox will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Benjamin Logan High School Music Boosters, 6609 State Route 47 E, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311, to be put towards a memorial music scholarship in Tori’s name.
