Julie Schmidt was a BHS grad; worked at DTR Industries for 18 years
Julie Ann Schmidt, 56, of Pandora died June 24, 2016, at 9:17 a.m. at the Meadows of Ottawa. Julie was born Oct. 27, 1959, in Bluffton to Don and Pat (Joseph) Schmidt who survive in Pandora.
Julie worked at DTR Industries in Bluffton for 18 years. She graduated from Bluffton High School and obtained her associate's degree from Lima Technical College.
Survivors also include three sisters, Jodi (Steve) Wilson of Pickerington, Jane (Tom) McCullough of Pandora, Judy (Gary) Miller of Pandora; two brothers, Tom (Mark) Schmidt of Los Angeles, California, Mike (fiancé Deb Sapienza) Schmidt of Findlay; nine nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Josh McCullough, Blane Miller, Vanessa Wilson, Maranda Bailey, Mike E. Schmidt, Mark and Scott Wilson, Sarah Rager; and eight great nieces and nephews, Maxwell and Macy Wilson, Emma Miller, Garrett Bailey, Elias, Jonah, Bennett and Charlotte Wilson.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27, from 2 - 6 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Julie's wishes were for everyone to be casual and wear your favorite pair of blue jeans.
Memorial contributions may be made to your local food pantry.
