Men's Soccer drops 2-0 decision at Otterbein

WESTERVILLE, Ohio -A pair of Otterbein tallies in the first half marked the only scoring in a 2-0 victory by the Cardinals on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016. Bluffton saw its record slip to 2-2, while Otterbein improved to 4-2 on the young season.
Pao Ping notched both goals in a 10-minute span midway through the first 45 minutes and the Otterbein defense made the 2-0 spread stand up. The home team finished with a 32-3 advantage in shot attempts as well as an 8-4 margin on corner kicks. Senior keeper Matt Hardman-Zimmerman (Forest City, Penn.) racked up eight saves for the Beavers.
Bluffton wraps up its early season road marathon with a trip to Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. The Beavers will lock horns with the Yellow Jackets of the OAC at 3:30 p.m. following the Bluffton women's matchup with B-W. The men will make their home debut with Coach Kusak next Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. when the Beavers host Wittenberg!
