Reese named HCAC Field Athlete of Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University’s D'Nae Reese (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week following her performance at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Reese led the Beaver contingent with a 2nd place finish in the 16 woman field in the weight throw. She had the field covered until the last round when she was eclipsed 17.25 meters (56’ 7.25”) to 17.24 meters (56’ 6.75”). It marks the third HCAC Field Athlete of the Week honor in the last two years for Reese, including her second in the past month!
The Beavers will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 18, when Bluffton travels to Rose-Hulman for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Click here for the HCAC Championships webpage.
