Raymond Diller was a 1970 Bluffton HS graduate
Raymond "HooRay" Doyle Diller, 65, died October 13, 2017, at Bluffton Hospital. Raymond was born Sept. 16, 1952 in Bluffton to Robert and Burdella (Nusbaum) Diller who preceded him in death. On Sept. 27, 1986 he married Deborah Ruebush who survives.
Raymond was a 1970 graduate of Bluffton High School. He retired from Tower Automotive where he was a production technician. He had also worked for Maynard Badertscher Construction, Reichenbach Lumber, Steiner Lumber and Bluffton Precast Concrete.
Survivors also include two daughters, Danielle Diller and Amanda Diller both of Bluffton; two brothers, Timothy Diller and Thomas Diller both of Bluffton; three sisters, Irene (Gary) Binkley of Bluffton, Patricia Diller of Bluffton, Diana Sue (Mike) Lehman of LaGrange, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Diller and Marsha J. Gillogly; and a brother, David Diller.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor James Leach officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa River Cemetery near Rimer following the service.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or the American Diabetes Association.
