Council hires Bryan Lloyd as assistant village administrator
Bluffton council named Bryan Lloyd, a member of the Bluffton village services department since 2008, as the village’s new assistant village administrator on Monday.
The assistant position opened when Jesse Blackburn vacated it to become village administrator. The position pays $57,000 annually.
Lloyd, is a 2002 Bath High School graduate, and a 2007 Bluffton University grad, with a degree in management. He holds a Class II water and Class II sewer license. He began his new position on Tuesday.
He will oversee the public works department and will be involved in fieldwork in addition to other duties.
He and his wife, Stephanie, have three children, Chett, 5, Kendyl 3, and Brynleigh 5 months.
In addition to his position with the village, for the past three seasons Lloyd has served as assistant defensive line coach for the Bluffton HS varsity football team. He played on the defensive line for the Bluffton University football team, while he was in college.
