Letter: Thanks for flag project support
Icon viewers:
The S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club of Bluffton, in conjunction with the Village of Bluffton, the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Bluffton American Legion, says thank you to the many businesses and individuals who helped to sponsor the 2018 Main Street flag project. The cooperation among so many people who helped this project in so many ways is truly inspiring. And the stories behind the people who are honored and memorialized are heartwarming.
The bright red,w hite and blue American flags are waving in the breeze on Main Street. Thanks to the outstanding pouring of support by businesses, merchants, and individuals, Bluffton once again appears to be Flag Village USA. Jerry Cupples and other American Legion members also receive our heartfelt thanks for all their work in attaching each flag to a pole and then attaching that to the street light poles.
S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club (Sharing Hopes And Nourishing Needs Of Neighbors) is an entirely-local volunteer service organization that uses all incoming funds directly to help aid the youth, elderly, and needy of Bluffton through many services and projects.
Included below is a list of donors giving special recognition to those people and businesses who have made Bluffton look mighty good and feel mighty proud by supporting such a worthwhile project. You may also find this list of donors on the S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Signboard in front of the Citizens National Bank on Main Street.
