Want to grow your own veggies, cutting flowers or herbs?
Ever wanted to grow your own veggies, cutting flowers, and fresh herbs in a full sun location?
If so, come out to Bluffton’s Community Garden and rent a plot for the growing season. Grow all those delicious herbs like basil, cilantro and parsley along with vegetables like tomatoes, green beans, peppers and squash in your very own garden plot; all the ingredients needed for great summer feasts, or to preserve for winter eating.
Or have you always wanted to grow masses of flowers in your own cutting garden? If so, this full sun location will let you grow lots of zinnia, cosmos, gladiolus and more, to make beautiful cut flower arrangements all summer and into the fall.
Two sizes of garden plots are available to rent – large 20 by 60 feet, which are tilled. Or 4 by 8 feet, which comes with a variety of plants and seeds provided.
Interested? Then contact a member of Gardeners of the Bluffton/Pandora Area (GBPA), garden club for details.
Plots must be reserved by Wednesday, May 22, so that any un-rented large plots can be sewn with sunflower seeds during Memorial Day Weekend.
