Next week’s BFR summer camp theme: Wacky Water Week
Bluffton Family Recreation’s kid’s summer camp registration deadline for next week's Wacky Water Week camp is this Friday.
Monday-Friday traditional day camp (ages 5-12)
• Camp theme: Wack Water Week, where kids will make their own slip and slide, water bed, and participate in water games. Arts and crafts for the week will be erupting ice chalk paint and water-filled pinatas.
• Camp dates: Monday-Friday, Aug. 2
• To register call BFR, at 215 Snider Road, 419-358-4150
• Pre-camp hours: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
• Kid’s camp: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Post-camp: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
• Open to youth ages 5 to 12
• Weekly cost $60, members; $120, program participants
• Bluffton Hospital provides lunch for all campers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
And, next week’s pre-school camp (ages 3 to 6)
• 9 to 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 2
• Theme: Color Me Messy
• Color me Messy camp allows kids to get creative with color, such as making their own color powder and slime, plus playing with a colorful shaving cream wiffle ball. Pre-school camp introduces younger kids to a traditional day camp, with the added security of their parent/guardian present.
• $10, members; $20, program participants
